The Indian men’s cricket team will face New Zealand in a five-match ODI series from November 4 to 15. After winning the T20I series under Shreyas Iyer’s leadership, India would like to get the better of New Zealand in the one-day series now.
For the five 50-over matches, India have named a strong squad that includes the likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and Mohammed Siraj, among others, while New Zealand have also picked a balanced mix of players.
India have a poor record against New Zealand in ODIs played away from home, and under Gill and Iyer’s captaincy, India will be eager to rewrite the history books.
