Salman Khan’s Trainer Reveals His Fitness Secret, Challenges 'Younger Actors To Do Bench Press With Him'

Actor Salman Khan has often shared posts on his social media with quite interesting captions. Now, in a recent picture that he uploaded on Instagram, the superstar is seen flaunting his chiselled look. Reacting to his post, Salman’s longtime trainer Rakkesh R. Uddiyar opened up about the actor’s strict routine.

Speaking to Zoom, Rakkesh shared, “Salman Khan’s secret is discipline, dedication, and determination. This has been his routine for years. Maine Pyar Kiya released in 1989 and it has been over 30 years. Ab kya 30 saalon mein kisiki body nahi banti? People say all sorts of nonsense about him. You also have to see that age is also a factor.”

“Look at his discipline. Uss bande ko khana nahi milega,

no matter how exhausted he is, Salman Khan ke muh pe aap tension nahi dekhoge (Even if he doesn’t get food, no matter how exhausted he is, you will never see stress or tension on Salman Khan’s face),” Rakkesh further added while praising Salman’s strength and work ethic.

Shedding light on Khan’s fitness regime, Rakkesh shared, “Salman ek time pe 10 exercises karta hai and his minimum range of repetition per set is 20. Agar usne ek exercise ke 2 se 3 sets bhi kiye, toh bhi it is too much. Uske competition mein koi nahi aata. (Salman does 10 exercises at a time, and his minimum repetition range per set is 20. Even if he does just two or three sets of one exercise, it is still too much. No one can compete with him).”

“I challenge the younger actors to come and do bench press with Salman. I am sure nobody would be able to do it. He is very strong,” the trainer concluded.

On the work front

Professionally, Salman was last seen in Sikandar. He will next be seen in Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace, a film rooted in the true events of the 2020 Galwan Valley clash. The film also stars Chitrangada Singh and is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia.

Apart from Salman and Chitrangada, Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace features Zeyn Shaw, Ankur Bhatia, and Vipin Bhardwaj, among others.

Salman also has an untitled film with Nayanthara in the pipeline. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju, the film officially went on floors in April 2026.
