Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri: Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday's Romantic Track Hum Dono Out

The much-awaited romantic track from Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday’s upcoming film Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri has finally been released. The song, Hum Dono, has sent fans into a frenzy. The romantic number is now out in full and audiences are calling it one of the most melodious love songs of the season.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Kartik Aaryan shared the video featuring him with Ananya. Both are seen in love with each other. “You and Me Make a Perfect We !!  #HumDono #TuMeriMainTeraMainTeraTuMeri in cinemas 25 Dec.” Fans also reacted. One of the fans wrote, “Another Banger”. Another wrote, “This is what my next favourite track looks like.”

‘No One Asked My Permission’:

Rajiv Rai Angered By Saat Samundar Beats

Filmmaker Rajiv Rai is unhappy with Dharma Productions after discovering that the announcement promo of Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri—the upcoming rom-com reuniting Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday—briefly used the opening beats of his iconic Vishwatma (1992) track Saat Samundar. The 32-second teaser dropped in December 2024, but its background cue sparked an unexpected copyright battle.

In a conversation with mid-day, Rai said he was taken aback when he heard the familiar beats in the teaser and instructed his legal team to contact both Dharma Productions and Saregama, the music label that holds rights to several of his songs. According to Rai, neither party approached him for permission.

“Saat Samundar’s beats are not there in the latest teaser, I’m not sure if it’s used in the movie,” he clarified. “But they can’t use the beats like this, especially when nobody asked my permission. It’s a bad trend where filmmakers use old songs and claim they’ve taken the rights from the music company.”

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri: Storyline

The teaser for Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri begins with the thought, “If you’re going to live another week, make it the best week of your life.” We are then introduced to Kartik Aaryan’s character, who confidently shows off his abs and claims that no one would want to let a guy like him go. Ananya Panday appears as Rumi, a girl who dreams of a classic ’90s-style romance in a 2025 hook-up culture. In an airport scene, Kartik playfully teases her about feminism and women wanting gallantry. The teaser then offers quick glimpses of their growing bond as sparks begin to fly between the two.

The trailer, released on Kartik’s birthday, gave audiences a taste of the film’s engaging chemistry and original story. The film is directed by Sameer Vidwans, who previously worked with Kartik on Satyaprem Ki Katha, and is supported by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures, as well as producers Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Shareen Mantri Kedia, Kishor Arora, and Bhumika Tewari. The film will be released on December 25.
