‘Fun And Exciting’: Varun Dhawan On Nitin Rokade’s Upcoming Film Hukkey

Director Nitin Rokade’s upcoming film Hukkey is creating a lot of buzz in the Marathi film industry. The first look for the film has been launched and is receiving positive feedback from movie enthusiasts.

Varun Dhawan also lauded the teaser and sent his wishes to the filmmaker. Varun shared the link to the teaser and poster of the film on his Instagram story and wrote, “Nitin Rokade this looks very fun and exciting. Keep you on the edge. Congratulations to the entire cast and crew.” The poster features a half face of a ferocious tiger with burning eyes. The teaser features four friends who are in search of money. But their greed lands them in a haunted place with mysterious characters and strange situations.

Hukkey- Cast and Other Details

The film is being produced by Magic Swan Studios with Nitin Rokade, Sunanda Kaluskar, and Vinayak Pashte, with Sudhir Khot and Rais Khan serving as co-producers.
Nitin Rokade also wrote the story with Sandeep Kumar Roy and Madhulita Das assisting him. The film is expected to release in theatres on November 28. Prathamesh Parab will play the key role in the film. He collaborates with artists such as Ravi Kishore, Prashant Mohite, and Mahesh Patil. Praful-Swapnil composed the music for the film.

Meanwhile, professionally, Varun Dhawan is also having a packed schedule. He was most recently seen in the romantic comedy, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, which was released in October 2025. The film also starred Janhvi Kapoor, Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra in lead roles.
Maniesh Paul, Akshay Oberoi, and Abhinav Sharma play minor roles in the film, which adds to its vitality. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, with its unique plot, vivid performances, and emotional undercurrents became a festive season delight.
