A Mumbai-based cab driver’s ethics and super-professional attitude were lauded by a resident of the neighbouring city, Pune. Aditya Kondawar, who resides in Pune, was travelling to Andheri West when an interesting
encounter with a cab driver left him highly impressed by the culture and practices in the city of dreams.
Kondawar revealed the incident with a post on X this Saturday, November 22. Having reached the location, the Pune man initially handed over Rs 110 to the cab driver for a fare of Rs 103. He was happy with the service, so he told the driver to keep the change.
Driver Surprises Pune Man Travelling To Mumbai
Later on, the driver surprised the Pune-based local travelling to Mumbai as he politely returned Rs 7 to the customer and refused to keep any extra sum with him. “I was travelling to Andheri West, and Bill was Rs 103. I gave Rs 110 and told the Driver to keep the change. The driver didn’t take it and gave me back Rs 7. I told him it’s ok, but still he didn’t accept Rs 1 extra,” Kondawar wrote.
