Chandigarh, Jun 3 (PTI) Hot weather conditions prevailed in many parts of Haryana and Punjab on Wednesday, with Rohtak recording a maximum temperature of 42.1 degrees Celsius, making it the hottest place in the state, according to weather officials.
According to the Met here, Sirsa also experienced hot weather, recording 42 degrees Celsius.
Gurugram recorded 38.2 degrees Celsius, Ambala 39.4 degrees, Hisar 40.5 degrees, while Bhiwani registered 40 degrees Celsius.
Chandigarh, the common capital of the two states, recorded 38.1 degrees Celsius.
In Punjab, Faridkot was the hottest place, recording 42.6 degrees Celsius. Patiala recorded 39.4 degrees Celsius while Bathinda recorded 39.5 degrees Celsius.
Amritsar recorded 36.2 degrees, Ludhiana 36.2 degrees, while
