Months after photos from their secret wedding went viral, rapper Badshah and Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi have announced their divorce. The couple shared identical statements on Instagram on August 31, saying they have mutually decided to go their separate ways.

Who Is Isha Rikhi?
Isha Rikhi is an actress and model known primarily for her work in the Punjabi film industry. Reportedly, she began her career as a model before transitioning into films. She made her acting debut with Jatt Boys Putt Jattan De (2013). The film also starred Sippy Gill and Om Puri, among others in the lead. She later appeared in several hit Punjabi films like Happy Go Lucky, Mere Yaar Kaminey,
What the Jatt!!, and Ardaas.
In 2018, Isha entered Bollywood with Nawabzaade, which also starred Varun Dhawan, Raghav Juyal, and Punit Pathak.
Badshah’s Love Story With Isha
Badshah and Isha had been dating for almost four years. Reportedly, they met at a party via one of their mutual friends and fell in love with each other.
In October 2022, a report by Pinkvilla claimed that while Badshah and Isha met via a common friend, they instantly vibed on their love for music. “It’s been a year that rapper is seeing a Punjabi actress. Badshah met Isha Rikhi at a party of their common friend. The lovebirds instantly hit it off. At a party, they figured out that they have familiar taste in films and music, so they vibed together,” a source cited by the entertainment portal had said.
Badshah’s Marriage To Isha Rikhi
Back in July, Isha’s mother took to her Instagram handle and shared a series of pictures which suggested that her daughter was married to the rapper. In the photos, Badshah and Isha were seen taking part in wedding rituals in the presence of their family members. While Badshah was seen wearing a brown kurta along with a golden saafa, Isha was seen in a traditional red salwar kameez. The two were also seen wearing wedding garlands in some of the photos. Other pictures feature the couple smiling and posing together for the cameras. In the caption of her post, Isha’s mother wrote, “God bless you 🙌 🧿❤️.”
