moment for all. Now, the actress revisited the time she spent with her loving friend.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Sanya Malhotra shared a throwback picture with Anunay Sood from one of their trips to Ladakh. The duo was seen happily posing for a selfie, clicked by her, while a surreal glimpse of the land of “High Passes” was visible in the background. They were seen dressed in a bike rider’s ensemble and dished out pure travel goals.
Sanya Malhotra’s Heartfelt Words For Anunay Sood
Alongside the photo, the Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari actress penned a heartfelt note in remembrance of her friend, who passed away at the mere age of 32. She wrote, “Anunay, thank you for adding so much light and laughter to our lives. You truly are one of a kind”.

She also shared a video in the following stories, which was captured by Anunay. They were seen riding together on their trip to Leh, Ladakh, in which Sanya showcased her driving skills. The actress captioned the video with a red heart.
Following this, she dropped yet another full picture of the duo, saying, “Thank you hero,” followed by a crying and a heart emoji.
Who Was Anunay Sood?
Anunay Sood, who left for the heavenly abode on November 6, was a prominent travel influencer, photographer, and content creator. By profession, he was also a trained pilot and the co-founder of a marketing firm in Dubai.
For his inspiring travel content and huge following on his social media handles, the travel influencer was also featured in Forbes India’s “Top 100 Digital Stars” list for three consecutive years.
He passed away at 32, reportedly due to a health trouble while travelling in Las Vegas. However, the cause of his death has not been publicly disclosed, with his family requesting privacy during their time of grief.

The actress, who is known for her incredible roles in Badhaai Ho (2018), Photograph (2019), Ludo (2020), Shakuntala Devi (2020), Pagglait (2021), Love Hostel (2022), Sam Bahadur (2023), Kathal (2023) and Mrs. (2024), has already bagged multiple awards for her work.
In 2025, she appeared in Thug Life, Bandar, and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Looking ahead, she has a movie titled Toaster in her pipeline, which is currently in post-production.
