This has been a dream, and I’m just so touched and humbled. To Aishwarya and Aaradhya, thank you for allowing me to go out and follow my dreams. I hope that by winning this award, they see that their sacrifices have been one of the main reasons I stand here today.”
Aishwarya, who recently graced the runway for L’Oréal at Paris Fashion Week 2025 in a stunning black sherwani-inspired outfit designed by Manish Malhotra, took to her Instagram account to post her pictures from the show. She simply tagged the designer alongside a sparkle, red heart and folded hand emoji. Actress Bhumi Pednekar commented, “Queen.” While Aishwarya’s fans were in awe of her look.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan turned heads in a striking black sherwani that perfectly balanced power and poise. The outfit featured a raised bandhgala collar with a split neckline, highlighted by diamond-studded buttons. She completed the look with matching black flared pants, adding a touch of timeless sophistication to her ensemble.
Meanwhile, it was an unforgettable night for Abhishek Bachchan at the 70th Filmfare Awards. The actor not only took home the Best Actor trophy but also took the stage to honour his father, Amitabh Bachchan, on his 83rd birthday. The emotional tribute became one of the evening’s standout moments, as Abhishek performed a lively medley of Big B’s most iconic songs spanning decades from his energetic dance hits to soulful classics that defined generations.
The performance struck a nostalgic chord with the audience and left his mother, Jaya Bachchan, visibly emotional. In a heartwarming moment, Abhishek paused mid-performance, stepped down from the stage, and walked up to his teary-eyed mother. He gently took her hand, danced with her for a few seconds, and gave her a warm hug before placing a tender kiss on her forehead. Throughout the star-studded night, Abhishek was seen sharing warm moments with his mother, Jaya, and sister, Shweta Bachchan. However, fans couldn’t help but notice Aishwarya’s absence from the event, which sparked conversations online.
