Prabhsimran Singh opened the innings for Punjab Kings on Thursday and scored a brilliant half-century for Shreyas Iyer’s men. He faced 32 balls during his stay at the crease, and with the help of 6 fours and 4 sixes, scored 57 runs. The 57-run knock by the uncapped Indian wicketkeeper-batter helped him extend his tally of runs to 439, and he is now 8th in the list of batters with the most runs in IPL 2026.
For PBKS, apart from Prabh, Cooper Connolly scored 21 runs from 22 balls, and MI opener Ryan Rickelton hammered 48 runs from 23 balls. They are 9th and 10th in the Orange Cap leaderboard with 436 and 430 runs, respectively.
SRH’s middle-order batter Heinrich Klaasen is leading the Orange Cap race in IPL 2026. He has amassed a total of 508 runs in 12 matches played so far for the Orange Army.
