On May 16, veteran actor Kamal Haasan took to social media to share pictures from his most recent visit with Vijay after he became the Tamil Nadu CM. Vijay, officially known as C. Joseph Vijay, took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on Sunday, May 10, bringing an end to days of anticipation and speculation surrounding the formation of the new state government. In his post, Kamal Haasan revealed that he submitted six demands on the need for support for the Tamil film industry.
After meeting Vijay, Kamal Haasan shared that he personally extended his wishes to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and appreciated the warmth, humility, and affection he showed during their interaction. During the meeting, Kamal submitted six key demands concerning
the Tamil film industry and stressed the need for the state government’s support to help the industry overcome its current challenges. His note read, “Today, I met in person with the Honorable Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Brother Vijay @TVKVijayHQ, and conveyed my best wishes. He enthusiastically shared many dreams for the betterment of Tamil Nadu. The humility and affection he displayed during the meeting filled me with pride.”
He went on to add, “I have submitted to him 6 important demands, emphasizing that the Tamil Nadu government’s support and embrace are essential for the Tamil film industry, which is facing various obstacles. May goodness flourish.” Have a look:

Recently, the senior actor congratulated Vijay after he took the oath as the new CM of Tamil Nadu.
