Gujarat Titans won their IPL 2026 fixture against defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Thursday as GT successfully chased down the target of 156 with 4 wickets to spare.

RCB were bundled out for 155 runs as Arshad Khan registered a three-fer, while Rashid Khan and Jason Holder scalped a couple of wickets each to leave Devdutt Padikkal’s 40-run knock top of the RCB batters’ list today. Skipper Shubman Gill’s explosive 43 and Jos Buttler’s 39-run knock at the onset of the chase helped the hosts sail past the target.

Bethell for 5 runs Mohammed Siraj struck. Kohli fell shortly after to Kagiso Rabada for 28. Devdutt Padikkal held fort while Patidar fell, followed by Jitesh Sharma, Tim David and Krunal Pandya all for single digit scores.
Rashid Khan removed Padikkal for 40, before Holder dismissed compatriot Romario Shepherd for 17 runs. Venkatesh Iyer added 12 runs before falling prey to Arshad for the seamer’s third wicket of the night, before Josh Hazlewood was run out as RCB were bundled out for 155 with Bhuvneshwar Kumar unbeaten on 15.
Sai Sudharsan and Gill opened the innings before the former fell for just 6 off 5 balls, before the latter steadied the ship alongside Buttler. Bhuvneshwar Kumar logged an outstanding three-fer to remove the GT top order before Romario Shepherd scalped Shahrukh Khan and Washington Sundar for 8 and 12 respectively.
Holder added 12 runs before Suyash Sharma got in on the wickets, as Rahul Tewatia stood unbeaten to take GT past the finish line with 25 balls to spare with his 27 run-innings.
Despite the defeat, RCB continue to be at the second spot on the table with 12 points, and GT too are static on fifth. The win though gave them two valuable points to swell their tally to 10.
