Janhvi Kapoor’s trusted stylist, Meagan Cocessio, shared an unseen look of the actor on social media recently. She captioned it, “Janhvi looking ethereal for an event last week.” Looking like a Param Sundari, Janhvi’s ethnic look is perfect for the ongoing wedding season, whether you are attending as a guest or are part of the bridal party.
Breakdown of Janhvi Kapoor’s vintage-inspired outfit
Janhvi Kapoor wore a well-tailored anarkali by Gurugram-based designer Mayyur Girotra. This regal ensemble is part of his 2025-2026 collection that was released sometime in September this year. According to the designer, this outfit is meant to be worn at one’s “best friend’s sangeet”. While the official cost of this outfit is not available, Mayyur’s designer pieces
can cost anywhere from Rs 68,000 to almost Rs 2 lakhs.

Janhvi wore a cream-coloured kalidaar made of mulmul. For the unversed, a kalidaar is similar to an anarkali; however, it features a fitted bodice that flares out from the waist with multiple panels. It can be paired with churidars, palazzos, or ghararas and is styled with a dupatta.
The kurta part of the outfit featured heavy embroidery on the sleeves and neckline and a huge circular cutout in the back. It also had an extremely broad border of greyish-brown embroidery along the hemline. She carried a dupatta draped on one shoulder that had zardozi and zari work on it.
For her glam, Janhvi leaned toward the muted gold tones, as she can be seen wearing a light shimmery gold eyeshadow on her lids with matching brown lipstick. She also had kohl-lined eyes that added depth to the look. She had her long hair tied in a slicked-back braided bun for extra pizzazz.

The actor amped up the jewellery for this look, as she wore a heavy bejewelled choker from Amrapali Jewels, along with the matching set of earrings and kada on her hand. She also added quite a few rings to her fingers.
