Three people were killed on the spot in a road accident near Ranasthalam in Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam district.
The incident took place at Baruva Junction on January 3, when a lorry, attempting to avoid
a biker who was reportedly carelessly crossing the road, lost control, crossed the divider, and collided with a car coming from the opposite direction.
CCTV footage of the accident has surfaced, showing the sequence of events leading to the crash.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
The crash sparked strong reactions from viewers, many of whom are debating who was at fault and how such tragedies can be avoided in the future.
The CCTV footage clearly shows the lorry colliding head-on with the car, with a severe impact. Following the collision, the lorry driver loses control, and the vehicle veers off the road, eventually coming to a stop in nearby fields just a few metres from the crash site.
