Mukul Choudhary played a super knock of 54 runs from just 27 balls on Thursday (April 9) to help Lucknow Super Giants successfully chase down the target of 182 runs in 20 overs and secure a three-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2026 match played at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The uncapped batter from Rajasthan batted with a strike rate of 200 and hammered 2 fours and 7 sixes during his stay at the crease. His maiden IPL half-century helped LSG secure their second win in this year’s IPL, and now with 4 points from 3 matches, they are 5th in the IPL 2026 points table.

On the other hand, KKR remain 9th in the points table. The Ajinkya Rahane-led side has lost 3 out of 4 matches played so far, and one match ended without a result due

Wicketkeeper-batter Angkrish Raghuvanshi scored 45 runs from 33 balls, and captain Ajinkya Rahane played a knock of 41 runs from 24 balls for Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens on Thursday, and their super shows with the bat helped them take 3rd and 5th positions, respectively, in the Orange Cap leaderboard. Raghuvanshi, who represents Mumbai in domestic cricket, has 155 runs to his name in four matches of IPL 2026, and he is only behind Yashasvi Jaiswal (170) and Sameer Rizvi (160) in the leading run-getters list.

On the other hand, Rahane has 124 runs to his name in this year’s IPL, which helped him overtake RR’s 15-year-old opening batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.
