Los Angeles, Apr 19 (PTI) Veteran actor Charles Dance is in talks to join the cast of DC Studios’ “The Batman Part II”, featuring Robert Pattinson reprising his Bruce Wayne role.
The actor, known for playing Tywin Lannister in “Game of Thrones”, will reportedly essay Charles Dent, father of Gotham district attorney Harvey Dent (Sebastian Stan), according to the entertainment news outlet Deadline.
The film is set to release on October 1, 2027 and is directed by Matt Reeves, who has also penned the script alongside Mattson Tomlin.

The story of the upcoming instalment picks up shortly after the events of the first film and the “The Penguin” spin-off, with Gotham still reeling from the Riddler’s flood.
The filming is set to take place in London.
