I went for the ad shoot, and I was wearing a lot of makeup, the amount one should wear for advertisements. Anurag Kashyap pointed at my face and asked me, ‘What is this?’ I was in my own attitude and I told him, ‘Mera dasva ad hai, aapka pehla hai (It’s my tenth ad, might be your first).’ I think that’s when he decided I am a fit for the film.”
Further talking about her paycheck for the film, Huma recalled, “I got paid Rs 65,000 for Gangs of Wasseypur. I would love to have that experience all over again, no matter how much the money.”
