'It Isn't Considered Good In Society': Hina Khan And Rubina Dilaik Discuss Aamir Khan's Third Marriage

Hina Khan and Rubina Dilaik’s new chat show, POV, with their husbands, has social media buzzing. While the first episode of the show had them at the centre of controversy for judging Akansha Chamola and Gaurav Khanna, the two, along with their husbands Rocky Jaiswal and Abhinav Shukla, spoke about audience perception of celebrities beyond their work. The two couples also discussed Aamir Khan’s third marriage to Gauri Spratt.

The discussion began with Rocky sharing the criticismAamir Khan has faced over his marriage to Gauri Spratt and questioning whether a celebrity’s personal life affects audience perception of their work.

While Rubina shared that she believes it does, Hina reacted, saying, “By that logic, none of Aamir Khan’s films should work.”

Reacting to her, Rubina argued that Aamir never had a major controversy. To this, Hina said, “Is this any less controversial?” and referred to the actor’s marriage to Gauri Spratt.

While making it clear that she isn’t judging Aamir Khan, Hina further explained, “The average person would naturally think, ‘Seriously? Getting married again? Left this one too?'”

While Rubina believed that, despite his personal choices, Aamir’s remarkable body of work continues to define him, Hina reaffirmed that she was talking about how society sees things and said, “It isn’t considered very good in our society, Rubina… marriage after marriage after marriage.” Rocky also weighed in, adding, “Forget about marriage; even divorce is not viewed favourably.”

For the unversed, Aamir Khan first married Reena Dutta in 1986. The two parted ways in 2002. The actor later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005. However, they also got separated in 2021. Aamir recently married Gauri Spratt at his Mumbai residence.

Gauri reportedly has a Tamilian mother and an Irish father. Her grandfather was a freedom fighter. Gauri has a professional background in hairdressing and holds an FDA in Fashion, Styling, and Photography from the University of the Arts London.

She is also a mother to a six-year-old son. Details about her first husband are not known. Professionally, she is currently working at Aamir Khan Films, which is Aamir Khan’s production house.
