With The Vvaan heading to theatres on September 25, the makers have dropped another song from the Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia-starrer. Titled Thummak Thummak, the track was released on Monday and brings a colourful, festive detour from the film’s supernatural folklore setting.
Composed by Tanishk Bagchi and sung by Dev Negi and Akasa Singh, Thummak Thummak is built as a full-fledged desi dance number. Bosco Leslie Martis has choreographed the song, with the hook step already emerging as one of its most talked-about elements.
Sidharth Malhotra’s Dance Moves Grab Attention
Tamannaah is right at home in the high-energy choreography, but Sidharth’s dancing has also caught viewers’ attention.
The actor appears more relaxed and assured through
the number, matching Tamannaah across the elaborate dance portions. Their chemistry, colourful costumes and the celebratory staging give the song a markedly different visual flavour from the darker imagery seen elsewhere in The Vvaan’s promotional material.

The Vvaan was initially scheduled to arrive in theatres on August 28, 2026. The release was later pushed, allowing the film to avoid a box-office clash with Yash and Kiara Advani’s Toxic, which released on August 26.
The makers unveiled The Vvaan trailer a few days ago, and it received a mixed response online.
However, the film’s music has continued to generate attention. Before Thummak Thummak, the Chhath Puja-based song from the film had already drawn interest.
With only a few days left until release, Thummak Thummak now adds a more celebratory, dance-heavy flavour to The Vvaan’s promotional campaign ahead of its September 25 theatrical debut.
