Shrutika Arjun is all set to return to reality television with the upcoming show The 50, and this time, her journey comes powered by honesty, courage, and sheer determination. After winning hearts as a bold
and entertaining personality on Bigg Boss 18, Shrutika is ready to take on a tougher challenge, even as she recovers from a recent surgery.
Talking exclusively to Times Entertainment about what convinced her to say yes to The 50, Shrutika revealed that the format’s raw and honest nature instantly struck a chord with her.
“What really pulled me towards The 50 was its honesty. This show doesn’t let you hide; it truly tests who you are,” she said.
She added that the love she received after Bigg Boss 18 came with responsibility. “After Bigg Boss, I received so much love as an entertainer, and I felt responsible towards my fans. I wanted to show them my real strength.”
Defying Surgery Setbacks And Finding Strength In The 50
Despite being advised to rest by her doctor following surgery, Shrutika chose to move forward with the show.
“Even after my surgery, when my doctor advised rest, I knew I couldn’t let that stop me. Saying yes to The 50 was my way of proving that the belief my fans have in me was never misplaced,” she shared.
While she admits she will miss her husband Arjun and her children, fondly called Aalu-Baalu, Shrutika says they have been her biggest motivation behind this decision.
Shrutika is particularly excited about The 50 because of its strong focus on both mental and physical strength.
“That shift excited me a lot. This format gave me a chance to push myself while still entertaining in a very organic way,” she said, adding that she is genuinely happy to be back on television.
The actress believes the show will allow her to connect directly with her fans and present a more real and unfiltered version of herself.

Shrutika announced her participation through Instagram, writing, “Rules pata hain… par main thoda different khelti hoon.” Her Bigg Boss 18 friends, including Karanveer Mehra, Vivian Dsena, Avinash Mishra, and others, rallied behind her with messages of support.
