The Janata Dal United (JD(U)) has released the second list of 44 candidates for the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections. The first list of 57 candidates was announced on Wednesday.
With this, JD(U) has now
finalised its full slate of 101 candidates for the seats allocated to it under the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for the 2025 elections.

Led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the party had released the first list earlier, with intention to actively contest all constituencies assigned to it. The addition of the second list completes JD(U)’s candidate preparations, giving a clear picture of its electoral strategy across Bihar.
The Bihar Assembly elections are scheduled in two phases, with the first phase of voting on November 6 and the second phase on November 11, 2025. The JD(U) announcement comes just ahead of the last date for filing nominations, ensuring all party candidates are officially in the fray.
