The Shashank Khaitan-directed film grossed only Rs 5.25 crore on Friday, according to early estimates from Sacnilk. While a dip in footfall was expected after the holiday, the slowdown in collections has been a raising concern. But it is predicted that the film might pick up during the weekend. The film’s total collection stands at 14.50 crore. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari had an overall 18.01 per cent Hindi Occupancy on Friday. The footfall for the morning shows was 9.06 per cent, while it increased to 17.44 per cent in the afternoon shows. The occupancy rate increased for evening and night concerts, reaching 18.33 per cent and 27.20 per cent, respectively.

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is competing at the box office with Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1. The film debuted at a healthy Rs 60 crore and broke numerous records. On Day 2, it surpassed the 90-crore mark. While the opening day collections of the two films differed significantly, their box office trajectories in the coming weeks remain uncertain.
