Suryakumar Yadav fell for a duck during the Asia Cup 2025 Super Four clash between India and Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
The incident happened on the third ball of the 11th
over of the Indian innings as Haris Rauf dimissed the Indian captain, with Abrar Ahmed taking the catch.

Haris Rauf bowled it full and on off, with the ball angling in as Suryakumar Yadav shuffled across to play a leg-side flick. The ball, though, took the leading-edge and flew to third-man as Abrar took a smart catch.

In T20 internationals, Suryakumar Yadav has faced off thrice against Haris Rauf and managed to score only 11 runs from 10 balls, getting out on all three occasions. This made Rauf the bowler who has dismissed Suryakumar the most frequently in T20Is.
Interestingly, SKY had demoted himself to 11 in India’s previous match in the Asia Cup against Oman, after smashing an unbeaten match-winning 47 in his last outing with the bat against, which incidentally was against Pakistan. In India’s opening fixture of the tournament, Suryakumar had seven not out against the UAE.
India Chase 172
Sahibzada Farhan anchored Pakistan’s innings with a solid 58, while Faheem Ashraf provided late fireworks with 20 not out off just eight balls, leading their side to 171/5.
Farhan appeared in command from the start, skillfully rotating the strike and attacking Jasprit Bumrah in the Power-play, hitting four boundaries off the pacer. Partnering with Saim Ayub, he put up a 72-run stand for the second wicket, taking Pakistan to 91/1 after 10 overs. However, India fought back through Shivam Dube, whose 2/33 pegged Pakistan back. Varun Chakaravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav also tightened the screws, as Pakistan managed only 38 runs between overs 11 and 17.
Farhan’s fifty came off 34 balls with a six against Axar Patel, but wickets fell regularly thereafter. Saim Ayub, Hussain Talat, and Farhan himself departed in quick succession, slowing the momentum. Salman and Nawaz briefly lifted the scoring before Ashraf’s late cameo — featuring a six off Bumrah and boundaries against Pandya — pushed the total past 170.
Despite a blazing start, Pakistan’s middle-overs slump meant they finished below what their early dominance had promised.
