The 2026 Grammy Awards delivered more than trophies and performances. They also sparked one of the loudest fan debates of the night, centred on APT, the massively popular collaboration between Bruno Mars
and Rosé. The song opened the ceremony, ruled global charts for months and became a staple across playlists and social media. Yet when the night ended, it had walked away without a single win. The surprise loss immediately split the internet. Fans of Rosé, known as Blinks, expressed disappointment and anger, while rival fandoms celebrated the outcome. What began as award-season chatter soon turned personal. Rosé was unfairly labelled “bad luck,” with some accusing her of ending Bruno Mars’ long-standing Grammy-winning streak.
Bruno Mars unfollowed Rosé?
Fuel was added when a screenshot began circulating on X, claiming that Bruno had unfollowed Rosé on Instagram after the losses. The image appeared to show a private message from Rosé questioning why her message was undelivered and why his profile photo had vanished. Within hours, the post went viral, racking up millions of views and thousands of comments.
Speculation exploded. Some users insisted the screenshot proved a fallout, while others questioned its authenticity. “He blocked her, blocked users cannot see profile pictures,” one person claimed. Another countered, “No way this is real. This has to be satire.” Despite the doubts, memes and accusations kept spreading, with Rosé once again at the centre of the backlash.

But the theory unravelled just as quickly as it formed. Fans noticed that Bruno Mars had never followed Rosé on Instagram to begin with, making an “unfollow” impossible. The screenshot, it became clear, was fake.
Pizza post that ended the debate
The final nail in the rumour’s coffin came a day later. Bruno shared a photo of Rosé eating pizza after the awards, a relaxed moment from the night. His caption read, “Count on me and Big Bad Rosie to be eating a pizza after a show! Thank you to everyone at the grammys for letting us have some fun. Congrats to all!” Adding to that, the two were also spotted together at a West Hollywood after-party, appearing comfortable and friendly.
Even back in December 2025, Bruno told Billboard Music that he and Rosé will be collaborating for other projects soon. He said, “”Oh, yeah, there is. And we love that song that we worked on — I won’t say the title… We’re just trying to figure out when, or how.”
