Singer and composer Mika Singh, who was among the few celebrities to face a ban by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), has come out in support of Ranveer Singh amid the ongoing Don 3 controversy and the film body issuing a non-cooperation directive against the Dhurandhar star.
As per Viral Bhayani, Mika Singh weighed in on the controversy and said, “Ranveer Singh is such a good and down-to-earth person ❤️✨ I know FWICE very well, and I’ll personally meet them and talk to them. After all, we are the bhais…”

Why Was Mika Singh Banned By FWICE?
Back in 2019, singer Mika Singh faced a temporary FWICE ban after performing at a wedding event in Karachi, Pakistan. Reports stated that the
wedding was linked to an associate of former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf. The move sparked major backlash at the time. However, the ban did not last long. Mika later met FWICE officials, apologised, and clarified that his appearance at the event was “just a coincidence,” after which the organisation revoked the directive.
What Happened With Ranveer Singh In The Don 3 Row?
Ranveer Singh was officially announced as the new Don in 2023. He took over the iconic role, which was previously played by Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. According to multiple online reports, Singh exited the film due to creative differences with the makers. A report by Free Press Journal had also claimed that Ranveer wanted a darker and more aggressive version of the character, including stronger language and heightened violence, while Farhan Akhtar reportedly wanted to stay closer to his original vision for the franchise.
Following this, Excel Entertainment demanded compensation of ₹45 crores from Singh over the damages they had allegedly incurred. Following Singh’s denial, Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani approached FWICE to help them in the matter, and on May 26, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees issued a “non-cooperation directive” against him over his sudden exit from Don 3.
A FWICE ban is essentially an industry-wide non-cooperation directive rather than a legal prohibition. It means affiliated workers and other people are being asked not to collaborate with the actor on shoots or productions.
