who celebrates his birthday today, reflected in an interview recently on why it is different for him this year.
In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Taha Shah said, “Previous years, it has always been about the career, but this year, it’s not just about career but also about self growth, self-awareness, work on my inner self and becoming a bit more connected to the universe.” He added that he would spend the day with his family: “It’s all about keeping the right people next to you instead of more people.”
Taha Shah Badussha On How Men Have Evolved
Taha Shah Badussha’s birthday coincides with International Men’s Day, and he takes an introspective look at the growth of males over time. He shared that there used to be a lot of hard-core men, especially for at least 30 years following partition, because their experiences throughout time had shaped them that way. But in our generation, everyone is really open.
Taha Shah Badussha On Men Having A Vulnerable Side
Contrary to the stereotype that men should be strong and stoic, Taha feels that men’s vulnerability is now welcomed and valued. He mentioned, “I don’t think that a man should be separated from his vulnerable side. He should be in touch with that side and be able to control that, and not completely ignore or sideline it. In today’s world, you have to be a bit both strong and vulnerable to survive.”
Taha starred with Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari and Richa Chadha In Heeramandi. Apart from that, he has acted in films such as Luv Ka The End, Baar Baar Dekho and Kabzaa.
