New Delhi, May 28 (PTI) Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd on Thursday reported a decline of 1.9 per cent in profit after tax at Rs 301.46 crore in the March quarter of FY26, on a year-on-year basis.
The company had reported a profit after tax of Rs 156.10 crore in the corresponding January-March quarter of the previous fiscal year, according to a regulatory filing from Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd (PGHH).
Revenue from operations of PGHH was down 5 per cent to Rs 941.32 crore in the March quarter of FY26. It was at Rs 991.83 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
PGHH, a listed entity of Procter & Gamble India, operates in the healthcare and feminine care segment with brands Vicks and Whisper in its portfolio.
PGHH’s
total expenses were at Rs 735.68 crore, down 7.8 per cent in the March quarter.
For the entire FY26, PGHH net profit was up 34.54 per cent to Rs 856.50 crore. Its total consolidated revenue was Rs 4,290.42 crore, up 27.14 per cent for the financial year ended on March 31, 2026.
“This year’s results show targeted investments, with continued focus on consumer centric innovations and strengthening its go-to-market capabilities,” said PGHH in its earnings statement.
Besides, the board of PGHH in a meeting on Thursday, recommended a final dividend of Rs 60 per equity share for FY26.
“Considering the interim dividend (including one-time special dividend) of Rs 195 per share, the total dividend payout for the fiscal will be Rs 255 per share, subject to shareholder approval,” it said.
Shares of Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd on Thursday settled at Rs 10,102.80 on the BSE, up 2.25 per cent from its previous close. PTI KRH TRB
