A bizarre yet hilarious video has captured the Internet’s attention, and it shows a groom-to-be confidently demanding not jewellery, not furniture, not even basic household items, but a Defender. The man shared his demands during a conversation with Guru Aniruddhacharya, and what began as a casual query about a wedding quickly turned into a hilarious exchange that has the internet in splits.
In the clip, the man tells Guruji that he got engaged “3–4 months ago.” Everything was going fine until, according to the man, the girl’s family started offering the usual household gifts. “Take this bed, take this fridge,” he recalls, before dramatically adding, “Guruji, I don’t want all this help. I want a Defender.”

Guru Aniruddhacharya’s Hilarious Exchange
Guruji, visibly puzzled, asks, “So you’re asking for dowry?” The groom replies, “No, Guruji, not dowry, I am asking for help.” The excuses get funnier with every line. When Guruji questions why he needs such an expensive ride, the man confidently says, “Guruji, I want the car for his daughter.” Guruji immediately retorts, “If you want this for his daughter, what will you do as her husband?”
The groom insists he isn’t asking for dowry at all. “Guruji, it’s help. I will return it,” he pleads, only for Guruji to reply, “You have become a beggar even before marriage?” The exchange reaches peak comedy when Guruji points out, “When your own father isn’t helping you, how can you expect the girl’s father to?” But the groom remains determined. He says, “If not a Defender, at least they can give me a Thar Roxx.”
Guruji shuts him down with the final comment saying, “In today’s 21st century, you are asking for dowry. Aren’t you ashamed?” But the man refuses to back down: “Guruji, it’s not dowry, it’s help.”
Social Media Reacts To Guru Aniruddhacharya-Man’s Argument
The conversation has now taken over social media. One user wrote, “Mujhe bhi help chahiye defender wali.” Another added, “Personal driver bnna chahta hai.” Someone else joined in writing, “Defender se ROXX tak ka safar.” An individual commented, “Ye yaha bargaining krne pohoch gya.”
This proves once again that reality can sometimes be more entertaining than scripted comedy.
