Sunny Deol’s Next Action Film With Kill Director Reportedly Titled Lakhan

The film, which has now reportedly been titled Lakhan, brings together veteran actor Sunny Deol and filmmaker Nikhil Nagesh Bhat for an action-heavy collaboration. According to a Pinkvilla report, the project is being developed as a mass entertainer built around high-energy action sequences and dramatic confrontations designed for big-screen appeal.

As per the same report, the film is currently in its pre-production stage, with the script finalised and

action sequences being designed in detail. The makers are reportedly focusing on scale and execution, with multiple set pieces being developed to highlight Sunny Deol’s on-screen persona. The narrative is expected to centre on a larger-than-life character, with emphasis on whistle-worthy moments aimed at theatrical audiences.

The shoot is scheduled to begin in October, with preparatory work underway to ensure a smooth production rollout. Industry sources suggest that considerable time is being invested in action design and staging before the film goes on floors, indicating a heavy emphasis on stylised action while maintaining a grounded approach.

Beyond this project, Sunny Deol continues to have a busy slate. He will next be seen portraying Hanuman in Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The two-part epic features a major ensemble cast including Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, and Yash as Raavan.

He is also part of Lahore 1947, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
