Chennai, June 7 (PTI) Former VCK MLA Panaiyur M Babu has joined DMK in the presence of party president M K Stalin on Sunday.
On the occasion, Stalin said, “I extend a warm welcome to Panaiyur Babu and to all of you who have joined hands with him”.
The DMK chief claimed that over a thousand people from various parties, including Panaiyur Babu, former VCK MLA of the Cheyyur constituency, have joined his party.
“If I were to speak specifically about Panaiyur Babu, I have closely observed him in the legislative Assembly over the past five years. He would arrive and depart quietly; yet, whenever he rose to speak in the House, he would articulate constructive ideas and emphasise issues concerning his constituency. He is someone who presents his views
