During the press meet, Lokesh was addressing questions around his recent release Coolie and his upcoming collaboration with Allu Arjun when a reporter raised a personal query that many viewers found inappropriate. The filmmaker, who has been married for over a decade, was asked about rumours linking him to an actress and whether he was planning to “be family” with her.

Responding calmly, Lokesh said, “No, sir. I already have a family.” Despite the clear answer, the reporter followed up with, “Second family,” prompting Lokesh to disengage from the question and bring the interaction to a close.

The exchange quickly made its way to social media, where fans and filmgoers criticised the reporter’s conduct and praised Lokesh for maintaining his composure. Several users on X (formerly Twitter) described the question as inappropriate and disrespectful.
