When you hear the term ‘three-wheeler’, your mind automatically goes to an autorickshaw. But few know that three-wheeler cars, with one model present even in Pune – the Polaris Slingshot R. Vlogger Sarthak Sachdeva dropped an Instagram video showing the unique car he got a ride in. The vehicle was owned by Tanishq Baheti, who deals with Barquillo Chocolates, a Dubai-based confectionery brand. A video of the unique car has grabbed attention on Instagram.
The video starts with Sarthak approaching the car owner and asking for a short ride. After some hesitation, he agrees.

The car became an instant sensation as it travelled. The car had no doors or windows. Its low ground clearance meant it almost touched the road. The riders could
feel the wind in their hair while they moved ahead in Pune. According to Sarthak, this was the only such vehicle in India. The car had a license plate from Dubai. The front of the car opened up in a unique manner to reveal the engine inside. Sarthak ended the clip by saying that he also wished to sell chocolates.
The clip attracted a lot of comments, with many calling it the “coolest 3 wheeler ever.”
Replying to Sarthak’s comment about selling confectionery, one user said, “Use chocolate bechna nahi chocolate banana bolte hai.”
Bike enthusiast Priyanka Kochhar has shared a video of the Polaris Slingshot R in 2023, thanking Baheti for the opportunity to check out the vehicle. The vehicle in the post had different colours, but was the same model.
Polaris Slingshot R Features
The car features a Vented Sport Hood and Brembo brakes. Gloss black wheels and integrated navigation are part of every vehicle. The AutoDrive mode features paddle shifters to help riders stay in sync with the moment. There is a manual transmission option as well. The car features a ProStar 2.0L 4 Cylinder Engine with a maximum power of 204 HP, as per its official website.
The car also has a 7-inch display powered by RIDE COMMAND. Apple CarPlay and Turn-By-Turn Navigation are enabled in the vehicles. The car can go from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds. The Polaris Slingshot R has a standard Anti-lock Braking (ABS) system.
The price of the Polaris Slingshot R starts from $34,999 (Rs 31.6 lakh approx), plus extra charges for destination and set-up.
