Roy was also spotted at the festivities this year. The actress was seen with her Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji at the pandal.
Mouni stole the limelight in a stunning red saree and a complete traditional look for Durga Puja. Ayan was wearing a simple yellow kurta for the day. Later, in the clip, Mouni was seen posing for a few solos as well. Fans also noticed that she was carrying a lotus in her hand which is an essential part of Ashtami puja.

Earlier, Jaya Bachchan was seen at Kajol’s family puja. Every year, Jaya is seen praying to Maa Durga at the Mukerji pandal. Kajol first posed with Jaya Bachchan before leaving her midway and encouraging her to go solo. To everyone’s amazement, Jaya not only accepted but also smiled her heart out as the cameras focused on her.
Family Misses Deb Mukherjee
The Mukerji family celebrates Durga Puja every year, but this time it was different as Deb Mukherjee has passed away. Kajol turned to social media to share a series of photos from the Puja pandal, along with a touching post.
Sharing the series of pictures, Kajol wrote, “The unveiling… such an emotional moment… to step on the pandal after this past year and all our losses, somehow it was dearer and at the same time so tough to do… we miss them all.”
In the photos, Kajol wore a cream silk saree with a red blouse, while Rani Mukerji wore a white saree with a floral border, offering a beautiful look. Ayan Mukerji accompanied the sisters, dressed in a white kurta-pyjama for the event. Tanishaa Mukerji, Kajol’s actress sister, wore a lemon saree and joined the celebrations.
