When it comes to Salman Khan, Mumbai doesn’t just celebrate, it shows up. As ‘Bhai’ turned 60, the city decided to mark the moment in true larger-than-life style, lighting up the Bandra-Worli Sea Link with a glowing birthday message for one of Bollywood’s biggest superstars.
As midnight neared, commuters and late-night travellers were greeted with an illuminated message on the iconic bridge that read, “Happy 60th Birthday, Salman Khan.” The sea link instantly turned into a birthday billboard, drawing attention from fans who stopped to take photos and shoot videos. Within minutes, clips of the tribute began flooding social media, with fans calling it a perfect salute to the actor’s unmatched stardom.

Away from the public spectacle, Salman rang in his birthday at his Panvel farmhouse with family members and close friends. Videos from the late-night celebrations surfaced online, showing the actor cutting multiple cakes with his inner circle.
Just after midnight, Salman stepped outside to greet the media waiting at the farmhouse. He cut a large cake with the paparazzi, posed for pictures and acknowledged them with a smile.
One video doing the rounds shows Salman dressed casually in a black T-shirt and blue jeans, cutting a white cake topped with red berries, surrounded by his security team. After the cake-cutting, he shared a warm moment with senior journalist Bharti Dubey, greeting her with a hug and a kiss.
