Jul 26 (PTI) The Special Task Force (STF) of the Uttar Pradesh Police arrested a criminal carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh and involved in 31 cases in Hapur district on Sunday morning, officials said.
The STF identified the arrested accused as Rohit, a resident of Bulandshahr district, and noted that cases are registered against him in Hapur, Aligarh, Bulandshahr, Ghaziabad, and Gautam Buddh Nagar districts.
The STF said the accused told police during interrogation that on June 9, 2025, he and his aides were involved in a looting incident in the Pilkhuva police station area in Hapur district. PTI NAV ASD ASD
