The New York Knicks are now just one win away from the NBA Finals. Read that again.
The Knicks dismantled the Cleveland Cavaliers 121-108 in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Saturday night, taking a crushing 3-0 series lead and silencing Rocket Arena in the process.
A franchise that hasn’t reached the Finals in nearly 27 years suddenly looks unstoppable — and right now, the biggest reason is Jalen Brunson.

And, as in Game 2, tonight was also a complete takeover.
Brunson once
again led from the front, dropping 30 points and controlling the tempo whenever Cleveland threatened to string together momentum. But unlike earlier games in the postseason, New York didn’t need a one-man rescue act.
The Knicks’ starting five delivered across the board.
Mikal Bridges set the tone early with 22 points, locking down defensively while knocking down difficult shots with ease as Brunson searched for rhythm.
Karl-Anthony Towns flirted with a triple-double, finishing with 13 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, while Landry Shamet chipped in 14 valuable bench points.
The Cavaliers, meanwhile, barely looked like a team facing elimination danger on their own floor.
Donovan Mitchell scored 23 points and Evan Mobley added 24, but Cleveland never truly looked capable of swinging the game. Their energy dipped, the execution vanished, and the mistakes piled up.
Turnovers absolutely killed them. The Cavs coughed the ball up 17 times, with Mitchell, Mobley and James Harden all committing five or more turnovers apiece. Their free-throw shooting wasn’t any better either, as Cleveland shot a dreadful 12-of-19 from the line.
Knicks Surging
New York has now won 10 straight playoff games and is suddenly staring at consecutive series sweeps.
History is firmly on their side too. In NBA playoff history, 163 teams have taken a 3-0 lead in a best-of-seven series. None of them have lost.
Game 4 is Monday night back in Cleveland. And unless the Cavaliers discover something dramatic overnight, this dream Knicks run is heading straight to the NBA Finals.
