Jun 2 (PTI) A 43-year-old man allegedly involved in more than 180 snatching cases in Telangana was apprehended on Tuesday, police said.
Acting on credible information, the Special Crime Team of the Central Crime Station, Detective Department, apprehended the notorious and habitual offender, who had been absconding in several cases, with multiple non-bailable warrants (NBWs) pending against him, a release from Hyderabad Police said.
In 2023, the accused allegedly committed a series of gold chain snatchings under the limits of Saifabad, Moghalpura, Charminar, and Nampally police stations and had been absconding since then.
Police said 14 non-bailable warrants are pending against him. PTI VVK SSK
