A viral video from the United States has left the internet stunned, showing a new father casually gaming in the hospital delivery suite, right up until the moment he was handed his newborn child.

The clip, which surfaced during the holiday season, shows the man seated at an elaborate gaming setup placed inside the room. Deeply engrossed in his game, he seemed unfazed until the doctors actually arrived with the baby. What stunned viewers was not just the presence of the console, but the fact that it had clearly been brought into the hospital

intentionally.

Then came the moment when a nurse entered the room carrying the newborn. The father stood up from his Xbox station, briefly shifted his focus to take the baby in his arms, and then almost immediately sat back down.

Initial reactions were filled with disbelief and criticism. Many questioned the father’s priorities during what is widely considered one of life’s most emotional milestones.
