The highly anticipated sixth season of Bigg Boss Marathi, hosted by Riteish Deshmukh, will witness its grand launch this Sunday. Recently, the makers of the reality show released first glimpses, without
mentioning any details about the contestants who will appear in the new season.
Amid the buzz doing rounds on the internet, a report in Pinkvilla claimed that actor Shreyas Talpade was in talks with the makers to take part in the show.
As per the report, Shreyas was approached to participate as a contestant in Bigg Boss Marathi Season 6.
Shreyas Talpade to Feature in Bigg Boss Marathi?
On being asked about the latest rumours, Shreyas told SCREEN that the information was “not true at all”.
This means that the actor will not appear in the sixth season of Bigg Boss Marathi. “These are false, baseless rumours… not true at all,” The Indian Express quoted Shreyas as saying.
The actor went on to say that “unfortunately, actors are the softest of targets, and some people will do anything to gain traction.”
Being a popular name in both Hindi and Marathi film industries, Shreyas does not seem to be interested in exploring reality TV anytime soon.
While Shreyas will not be a part of Bigg Boss Marathi Season 6, there are several other names that have come up, with fans expecting peak entertainment in the new season of the reality TV show.
Who All Are There in Bigg Boss Marathi 6?
With a few days left for the show’s premiere, there are multiple celebrities whose names have been linked to the new season of Bigg Boss Marathi. Among these include former Bigg Boss (Hindi version) contestants like Tejasswi Prakash, Vishal Kotian and Raqesh Bapat.
Tejasswi is currently seen on Laughter Chefs 3 on Colors TV.
Among others who have been rumoured to feature in Bigg Boss Marathi include Karan Sonawane, Sonali Raut, Prajakta Shukre, Sanket Pathak, Radha Mumbaikar, Rasika Jamsudkar, Anushree Mane and Deepali Sayyed.
The final list of candidates is yet to be officially announced by the makers.
Bigg Boss Marathi 6: What to Expect?
So far, the makers have indicated that the sixth season of the show will have tasks and game formats that were not used in the previous editions. Overall, the show will run for nearly 100 days, while episodes will be aired at 8 PM on Colors Marathi and Jio Hotstar.
Bigg Boss Marathi 6 will start from Sunday, January 11.
