Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif’s trolling over her appearance has become a major point of discussion. The actress stepped out with her husband, Vicky Kaushal, to attend the Ambani family’s Ganpati celebration, but a simple outing turned into a point of discussion, with a section of social media relentlessly trolling the actress for putting on weight post-pregnancy. While a section trolled her, the actress’ fans were quick to call the judgment out, and now a post defending Katrina has caught Hrithik Roshan’s attention.
An Instagram post by Harshveer Jain defending Katrina Kaif has been liked by her Bang Bang! co-star Hrithik Roshan. In the first slide of the post, Jain wrote, “I crushed on Katrina Kaif all my teenage. Travelled inter-state to
catch a glimpse. Kept newspaper cutouts and movie posters, some even in my wallet. Watched movies because she was casted. And now when a troll says she’s finished because she put on post-pregnancy weight, I can only pity that troll.”
In another slide, he added, “So if you are a teenager who is confused as to why are people calling you a troll for commenting on Katrina Kaif’s apparent weight gain, please note that —She is a mother. She has a successful business. Signs of a fairly successful life, personal and professional. Your commentary on her won’t affect her. You are a nobody for her. But women around you will look at that and immediately both, be hurt and also take you for a woman hater. Hopefully, you don’t want either.”
While Hrithik didn’t say anything directly on the matter, him liking a post defending Katrina clearly says what his stand on the matter is.
Katrina On Postpartum
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Katrina spoke about the changes in her skin after pregnancy and revealed what “looking your best” means to her. Asked if becoming a mother has changed her approach to skincare or body care, Katrina said, “Post-pregnancy, my skin became even more sensitive, so it was a really tricky time because I had to understand what products were working for me. I found myself looking for products that felt soothing, calming and restorative.”
