Working with Prabhas comes with a few pleasant surprises and Nidhhi Agerwal is happy to spell them out. The actor, who recently shared screen space with him in The Raja Saab, opened up about her experience of collaborating with the star, describing him as warm, kind and far removed from the intimidating image often associated with his stature.
In a conversation with India Today, Nidhhi spoke fondly about Prabhas and said that public perception doesn’t fully capture who he really is. Calling him a “darling,” she said he carries himself with grace and quiet dignity. “I think everything people say about him is true—that he’s a darling, that he has a very king-like personality, and that he treats people kindly. People also say he’s very quiet and mostly
talks to people he knows or is comfortable with, and that’s true,” she said.
Sharing more about his personality, Nidhhi explained that Prabhas may appear reserved at first, but that changes once you get to know him. “Once you meet him and start talking to him, he’s one of the sweetest, most non-judgmental people you can have a conversation with. He’s not exactly what people think at first; he’s just a bit shy and selective,” she added.
She also spoke about his introverted nature, saying she sees it as a strength rather than a flaw. Nidhhi described Prabhas as “very introverted,” adding that she believes “that’s great” and that “he’s perfect the way he is.”
Prabhas and Nidhhi Agerwal starred together in The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the banner of People Media Factory. The film also features Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar and Zarina Wahab. It was released on January 9 across Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
On the personal front, Nidhhi recently shared a selfie with Prabhas on Instagram, where the two were seen smiling and making a heart gesture with their fingers. While Nidhhi wore a golden outfit, Prabhas kept it casual. Captioning the post, she wrote, “This is not AI (laughing emoji) #therajasaab @actorprabhas.”
Ahead of the film’s release, Nidhhi also made headlines after an incident at a promotional event. She was mobbed and pushed by fans while exiting a song-launch event for The Raja Saab at Lulu Mall in Kukatpally, Hyderabad. Following the incident, Cyberabad Police registered a suo motu case against the organisers after visuals showed the actor struggling to make her way through a large and unruly crowd.
Meanwhile, Nidhhi has a busy slate ahead, with three Telugu films and two Hindi projects currently in the pipeline.
