Manoj Bajpayee recently opened up about his long-awaited collaboration with filmmaker and producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah during the trailer launch event of their upcoming project GOVERNOR. Speaking candidly at the event, the actor revealed that although he had known Vipul for many years, they never got an opportunity to work together until now.
Manoj Bajpayee said, “I have known Vipul for many years but we never got a chance to work together, I was looking for some work from him since he’s been a very successful producer in this industry. 4.5 years back he got in touch with me for this film, I found the first drafts so exciting and kept talking after that. ”

The trailer focuses on a crucial period in India’s economic history during
the 1990 crisis, when the country was facing severe financial problems. It shows the growing public anger over the economy and the difficult decisions that had to be taken to prevent the nation from collapsing financially. The film appears to recreate the tense atmosphere of that period while exploring a story many viewers may not know much about. Manoj Bajpayee and Adah Sharma feature prominently in the trailer, with both actors playing key roles in the story.
