The Gemini Nano Banana trend has been a hit in India, with millions of AI images created and edited by users. But the AI image feature is not just limited to the Gemini app or web version anymore. You can create a WhatsApp bot and use the Nano Banana AI model to generate images, courtesy Perplexity.
AI images have caught the imagination of millions, allowing them to restore old photos, or place them in a fun setting, like flying in space or artistic styles. Gemini Nano Banana is giving ChatGPT a tough run in the last few weeks and the new WhatsApp feature just makes it easier to use.
Gemini Nano Banana AI Images On WhatsApp: How It Works
Using Nano Banana on WhatsApp requires to add the Perplexity AI bot on the messaging app and you can do that
with these steps:
- Add and save Perplexity AI bot number +1 (833) 436-3285 on WhatsApp
- Open the bot and upload image to edit or generate a new style
- Request the image editing to be done using Nano Banana AI model
- Perplexity AI bot will give you options to edit/generate AI image
We tried the Perplexity bot on WhatsApp to create AI images using Nano Banana and the AI model needs the prompt to clearly mention the use of the Gemini’s AI image tool to process the content. Perplexity has its own AI image model which it uses by default.
Perplexity co-founder Aravind Srinivas claimed Nano Banana is the highest-quality model for images which now works through WhatsApp for millions. Meta AI is another option for users on the messaging app and you also have the ChatGPT bot which works through the platform.
Nano Banana On WhatsApp For Images: Is It Free?
Gemini’s Nano Banana has a higher image generation limit than most AI tools but does the Perplexity bot on WhatsApp have different support? When quizzed about this, the AI model said, the exact daily limit for free users is about 3 high-quality images and up to 10 medium-quality images per day. Pro users get unlimited high- and medium-quality generations with priority access.”
This suggests Nano Banana images on the Perplexity bot could be adhering to its own policies and not offering the Gemini limit, which has been previously set up to 100 image generations per day but Google seems to have gone dynamic with its policy based on the usage and traffic on its AI servers.
