Aluminium futures gain nearly 1 pc on firm overseas trend

Delhi, Jun 30 (PTI) Aluminium prices rose nearly 1 per cent in futures trade on Tuesday, following firm cues from the global markets.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for July delivery advanced by Rs 2.45, or 0.74 per cent, to Rs 331.80 per kg in a business turnover of 3,354 lots.

Analysts said the gains were largely in line with positive trends in the overseas markets.

On the London Metal Exchange, aluminium futures traded marginally higher at USD 3,105.75 per tonne. PTI HG HG BAL BAL
