Guru Randhawa’s latest track Fine Shyt has sparked a heated debate online, with the song attracting criticism from social media users. While some have mocked the track as “cringe”, others have accused the singer of promoting misogynistic views about women working in corporate spaces. Amid the continued backlash, Guru has now addressed the criticism, saying that the negativity does not bother him.
On Wednesday, August 12, Guru Randhawa took to Instagram and shared a picture of himself. He also penned a savage caption while giving it back to the trolls. He wrote, “SISU MINDSET AND MOVES….!!! Also tell all of them to make some new strategy against me…….this one didnt work!! In my own lane….One vs All Rare Like PAGANI.”

Earlier, he shared a video and reacted to the ongoing controversy surrounding his new song. He wrote in his caption, “Guilty as charged of making songs that repeat in your head forever. Low-key loving the edits though. No bad vibes! It’s just a silly little slang… calm down calm down calm down fam.”
Meanwhile, Tony Kakkar also joined the conversation with a light-hearted dig at Guru Randhawa. In a video shared on social media, Tony jokingly acted out a phone conversation with Guru, seemingly poking fun at the controversy surrounding Fine Shyt. He said, “Yes, Guru bhai! What have you done, yaar? You did it all by yourself and didn’t even tell me. Would I have picked up your call? No, no, I don’t answer anyone’s calls, but I would definitely have picked up yours.”
Fine Shyt begins with a disclaimer clarifying that everyone featured in the music video is above 18 and that the narrative is entirely fictional.
