MrBeast has finally addressed K-pop star Danielle’s termination from NewJeans. Following the news of Danielle’s exit, a fan-led campaign on social media flooded the global YouTube star’s account, urging
him to “save NewJeans” and “buy HYBE”.
After the billionaire YouTuber was dragged into the ongoing turmoil surrounding NewJeans and their agency, MrBeast addressed the situation. During an appearance on Jasontheween’s livestream, MrBeast shared his thoughts on the idea of buying the K-Pop group’s label, ADOR.
MrBeast Responds to NewJeans’ Fans
When the host brought up the growing wave of NewJeans’ fan comments on MrBeast’s social media, the YouTuber revealed it was a joke at first. He thought fans were roasting him, but the host quickly reassured him that the response came from a place of love.
Talking about the possibility of buying ADOR, MrBeast shared, “The number I keep seeing is around $30 million. It is a lot to anyone. But if it makes sense… I guess, if that’s what the internet needs and it helps bring things back together.”

Jasontheween then clarified that NewJeans’ dedicated fandom, Tokkies, do not necessarily want him to actually make the purchase. “From what I’ve seen, what they really want is to spread awareness,” he explained, adding that while some fans are joking, others genuinely believe his involvement could help amplify the situation and potentially protect the group’s members – Danielle, Minji, Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein.
How Did MrBeast Get Roped Into the NewJeans Saga?
After ADOR terminated Danielle’s contract, fans turned to MrBeast to use his power and influence to intervene in the contract dispute. Earlier, he responded to the influx of social media comments and asked, “What do I need to do?” While some fans genuinely wanted his help to save their favourite K-pop star, others simply joked around with comments like, “Buy ADOR” or “Make her your gf.”
What Do We Know About the Dispute Between Danielle and ADOR?
NewJeans was formed in 2022 by HYBE Entertainment’s sub-label ADOR. After attaining massive popularity, the group gets embroiled in a legal battle with the label, citing mistreatment. After a prolonged legal dispute, ADOR confirmed in a statement that they are cutting ties with Danielle.
As per The Korea Herald and the Korea JoongAng Daily’s reports, ADOR shared it cut ties with Danielle due to difficulties in her continuing to be part of both NewJeans and the agency as an artist. However, fans believed that Danielle faced alleged mistreatment by the label during the ongoing legal battle with the label’s parent company, HYBE.
