World No. 1 T20I side India will take on England in a five-match T20I series in July 2026. All five matches will be played in England, with the series opener scheduled for Wednesday (July 1) at the Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street.
India head into the series after suffering a shocking 2-0 T20I series defeat to Ireland, while England have not played a T20I since their seven-run loss to India in the semi-finals of the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 5.
England will be eager to avenge that heartbreaking World Cup defeat in front of their home fans, while India will be aiming to register their first T20I series victory under the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer.

Venues for the India-England T20I Series
All five T20Is between India and England will be played at different venues. The series opener is scheduled to take place at the Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street, while the second T20I will be played at Old Trafford in Manchester.
The remaining three matches will be held at Trent Bridge in Nottingham, the County Ground in Bristol and the Rose Bowl in Southampton.
