Actor and former Bigg Boss contestant Ajaz Khan has publicly offered to donate a kidney to Vrindavan-based saint Premanand Ji Maharaj, who is currently battling complete kidney failure. Sharing a video on Instagram on Tuesday, Khan appealed to his followers to pray for the spiritual leader’s well-being and expressed his willingness to contribute if medically feasible.
In the video, Ajaz Khan said, “Assalam Wakelum yaaro. Pramanand Ji, ek aisi shakhsiyat hai jinhone kabhi kisi dharam ke khilaaf nahi bola, kabhi kisiko bhadkaya nahi. Mera jee karta hai main unse milo, aur agar meri kidney match hojaye, toh main unhe apni ek kidney dena chahata hoon. (Assalam Walekum friends. Pramanand ji is a personality who never spoke against any religion, never incited
anyone. I feel like meeting him, and if my kidney matches, I would like to donate one of mine to him).”

He added, “Yaaro unke liye dua karo ke yeh shakhsiyat 100 saal aur jiye, aur Hindustan ka aur hum sabka bhala kare. Main aapse milne zaror aaunga sir. (Friends, pray for him that this personality lives for another 100 years and does good for Hindustan and all of us. I will definitely come to meet you, Sir).”
Premanand Ji Maharaj has received kidney donation offers from several devotees, though he has so far declined them. Earlier, Raj Kundra, husband of actress Shilpa Shetty, had also expressed willingness to donate a kidney to the saint.
Meanwhile, Ajaz Khan was recently granted anticipatory bail by the Delhi High Court in connection with a case linked to an allegedly objectionable social media post. The case was registered by the Delhi Police’s Cyber Crime Unit following a complaint filed by a YouTuber and his mother over content shared online.
Justice Ravinder Dudeja, who presided over the matter, granted Khan bail on the condition that he furnish a personal bond of Rs 30,000 along with one surety of the same amount. The court also directed him to surrender his passport and refrain from leaving the country without the trial court’s permission. Additionally, Khan has been asked to cooperate with investigators and provide his voice samples when required.
While pronouncing the order, Justice Dudeja remarked, “The freedom of ‘speech’ and ‘expression’ granted by the Constitution under Article 19 must be exercised within the bounds of the reasonable restrictions it places. When the speech crosses the line into insult, humiliation or incitement, it collides with the right to dignity.”
