Fans of the actors burst crackers and put out giant cutouts of Pawan Kalyan outside the theatres. However, outside a cinema hall during the grand celebration, an unfortunate incident occurred when a garland placed on one of the cutouts caught fire during the premiere celebration.
A video of a huge garland placed around a humongous cutout of Pawan Kalyan catching fire is going viral. The video has fans and netizens reacting to it. An X user, while sharing the clip, wrote, “Unfortunately, the garland put on the cutout caught
fire. But that too has turned into an elevation for us, perfect ga tesadu video evado kani (Whoever took the video took it perfectly).”
“The fire incident on the Pawan Kalyan cutout garland happened at Venkateswara Theatre in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, India, during a fan launch event on September 24, 2025. The cause appears to be accidental, possibly from nearby blasting crackers,” another fan re-shared.

According to sacnilk.com, They Call Him OG minted a whopping Rs 70 crore on its Day 1 across all languages, net in India. Not just this, the film also earned Rs 20.25 crore in Telugu as part of paid previews on the pre-release day.
Therefore, the total earnings of the film after the first day of its release now stand at Rs 90.25 crore at the domestic box office.
