President Droupadi Murmu on Friday inaugurated the Amrit Udyan Summer Annuals Edition at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The garden will be open to the public from August 16 and remain accessible until September 15.
During the month-long opening, visitors can enter Amrit Udyan between 10 am and 6 pm, with the last entry allowed at 5 pm. The garden will remain closed every Monday for maintenance.
Free Entry, Online Booking Mandatory
Entry to Amrit Udyan will be free, but visitors will have to book their slots online in advance through the official Rashtrapati Bhavan website. Bookings for a particular day will close at 10 am on the preceding day. There will be no facility for on-the-spot registration or ticket booking.
Visitors will enter and exit through Gate
No. 35, located near North Avenue Road.
Shuttle Service From Central Secretariat Metro
Several facilities will be available along the visitor route, including drinking water points, first-aid posts, rain shelters and restrooms.
A dedicated shuttle bus service will also operate between Central Secretariat Metro Station and the Amrit Udyan entry point. The service, marked with the banner “Shuttle Service for Amrit Udyan”, will run at 30-minute intervals from 9:30 am to 6 pm.
Visitors planning to explore the garden during the Summer Annuals edition have been advised to book their slots in advance and follow the designated entry and exit arrangements.
